Review of Berberian Sound Studio (2012) by Dustin G — 30 Apr 2013
Weird, but utterly unique and engrossing film featuring Toby Jones in the role he was born to play and the best use of sound I maybe have ever heard in a movie. The spiralling fever dream narrative and aesthetic as the film moves forward makes it all the more interesting and hard to figure.
Which is the intent, which is what makes it a perfect representation of what it's trying to be.
