If you think through this movie, you are astonished to discover that it provides a compassionate basis for justifying rape, as long as the rapist protects his victim from all subsequent would-be rapists.
(I'm sure this is unintentional, and the screenwriters were just unthoughtful, rather than morally repulsive.).
