Review of Beowulf (2007) by Pushkar D — 29 Dec 2010
I was surprised to find the entire thing was CGI, even the real-life actors. It just made it look tacky and like a waste of money from the word go. The mythology was nice to see, and while not completely historically accurate they did well interpreting medieval Scandinavia.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to go out of their way to see it, but if it comes up on TV (hence why I've seen it), it's worth a look.
