Despite many shallow changes in the original story that will surely make fans of the source material upset, Beowulf is still an incredibly entertaining blockbuster film, with motion capture CGI effects that are a substantial upgrade over Zemekis' previous film, "The Polar Express.
" A great cast adds to this epic, huge, entertaining, spectacle filled (yet shallow) feature.
