Most people may not like the film that much because the deepest message is one that takes some thinking and pondering to interpret. Also, the last half of the movie is completely different from the classic medieval poem.
My guess is English majors will not enjoy it. The CG is phenomenal. The score is beautiful. Many images that I will not soon forget. An incredible movie overall.
