Review of Beowulf (2007) by Seanf. — 23 Nov 2007
While this movie doesn't overcome all the present hurdles of representing emotionally vivid characters in CGI, It plays excellently to the strengths of the medium. The score and voice acting is masterful done and Grendel is successfully portrayed with an air of violent horror.
It could have been more epic than it was, but it remains a shining example of a sometimes troubled medium and is definitely worth seeing.
