Review of Beowulf (2007) by Tristans — 19 Nov 2007
The film is very entertaining and the animation is superb, but don't go in looking for the same depth from the epic poem. The movie is a big budget, sex- and-sword action film. Don't be distracted by the animation to think it is for kids, Beowulf is mainly aimed at young men who find Angelina Jolie hot.
The movie isn't deep so if you don't expect too much from the storytelling, you will be pleasantly surprised.
