Violent and gore are the words that immediately came into my mind. This is not the kind of animation for young kids. Itâ(TM)s eye candy for sure albeit its dark and broody color hue. (a common problem if a 3D film is watched in a normal cinema) Soon you will forget that it is an animation or photorealistic animation. Effort is put in to raise it above the standard monster slaying story.
PS : It is an attestation that nobody can resist Angelina Jolie. Not kings, brave warrior nor Beowulf.
