Review of Beowulf (2007) by Elinore H — 03 Sep 2012

I thought they did a good job on creating a fairly interesting story out of what is really three separate episodes. Some people may complain about changing the classics, but this was really a new story based on the classic. The CG was good. I thought Beowulf's character development was interesting.

However, I did not think it was a great film. It was way too violent. None of the other characters were all that interesting, even though they did have some depth. And for some reason, beowulf had to take all his clothes off every time he fought. He was half dressed or naked through half of the film. What was up with that?

So this film was fine, but not great.
