I must say that, aside from its dazzling graphics, Beowulf has little to offer to the viewer. It is dull, colourless and has little in the way of plot. The awesome olde worlde poem has been transformed into a graceless twist-up of a film.
A plot riddled with loops and a main character that has nothing in the way of a hero. I disliked this film as much as I dislke TV adverts, and the film causes me to react in much the same way. it is forgotten completely once it is over and it is completely blanked from my mind.
It was a waste of time.
