Pretty entertaining. Found it a bit difficult to distinguish the quality of the story in the face of the glaringly subpar motion capture, but the 3D models were nice, as was the voice acting.

I don't really get the point of making the entire thing in 3D, though. Is the use of such technology supposed to inspire awe amongst the viewers? Because if that's the case, yikes. It would probably have been better to film everything live action against a green screen or, if things simply HAD to be all-3D, to hand animate AT LEAST the characters' faces. Because the most impressive sequence was the last scenes of the movie, in which no one spoke, saving us all from the horribly blank facial expressions as everyone delivered their lines. Also, dragons.

Tl;dr: motion capture - it's not yet as awesome as Hollywood seems to think.
