Review of Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) by James D — 29 Apr 2008
Not a great movie. There are a few good moments, more deep social issues, but ultimately the story is fairly weak. Charlton Heston though only a bit player is a shadow of his former self as Taylor. The very end of the movie is good but leading up to it is the weakest part of the movie.
Even the directing is much much weaker but they used a TV director this time around. The best part by FAR is Linda Harrison. She's hot.
