Shame Charlton Heston Didn't Want To Have A Major Role In This As It Almost Seemed At Points That I Was Seeing A Repeat Of What Happened In The First Movie With The Establishing Of The 'Brent' Character.
The Political Commentary Being Made With The Mutants Worshipping The 'Doomsday Bomb' Is Quite Significant Especially If You Consider Events Like The Cuban Missile Crisis Were Still Fresh In People's Mind At The Time.
Need To Go Find All The Other 'Destroyed' NY Landmarks In This Movie When I'm Down There. Didn't Even Notice That It Wasn't Roddy McDowell Playing Cornelius Till I Saw The Documentary.
