Review of Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) by Henk E — 16 May 2009
The second installment in the Planet of the Apes Series starts off well, but halfway through the movie it just gets silly. The whole mind controlling mutants praying to an atom bomb idea is just plain stupid! Still the whole concept of the movie is intriguing, I just think they went a bit far this time.
Great to know Charlton Heston dies at the end of the movie tough because he just sucks!
Hope the next one is better!
