This would be a lot better if Charlton Heston had agreed to be the star. Instead they had to shoehorn a lookalike actor into the story and find a hokey way for Taylor to disappear for about an hour.
It had some very cool visuals like inside the Forbidden Zone and the mutated people that live there but nothing really beyond that.
