Great acting and direction but I wanted more than just a giant predatory lake fish as the driving plot device. Good pacing and I liked the psychological angle too but the lake monster prevents this from being anything great.
If you're already a fan of Larry Fessenden films you might like it but otherwise you probably won't. If you're not familiar with Fessenden's work I would suggest something else to start with, probably Habit.
