An unusual choice for Julia Roberts and a lot grittier than the trailer would lead you to believe (at one point it's a borderline action film), "Ben is Back" kept my attention and yet I wouldn't tell anyone to go see it.
If you're a fan of Roberts it's not a waste of time, but it's not a don't-miss film, either.
