Review of Ben-Hur (2016) by Rodrigo T — 16 Aug 2016
The essential Ben-Hur is there, we can ALMOST feel it. The actors work saves this movie from completely tragedy, all along with the tale of Christ. The director of "Wanted" and "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" strikes back with the ability to completely subtract emotion and spiritual intensity from the movie. But we still can enjoy good moments of 3D excitment.
The chariots race is fun, but Charlton Heston still kicks as Ben-Hur here.
Good movie, but not en EPIC as the epic older version.
