One of the great epic tales, and clocking in at 3 hours and 32 minutes (my copy), it is one of the longest movies I have ever seen, going right up there with LOTR 3 and Titanic (this seems odd because these three films all tie for the most number of Academy Awards ever won and each have a similar, very long run time.
The academy must prefer longer films.).
