Review of Ben-Hur (1959) by Dylan P — 12 May 2016
Fantastic. Captivating. A splendid epic, full of breathtaking lavish design, a genuinely captivating score, rich dialogue, powerhouse performances, inspired direction and incredible cinematography. Ben-Hur is not just a wonderful look at human relationships and also a realistic view of the beginning of Christianity.
It also shows that when a team of genuinely talented creative artists get together, the work they produce will be a masterwork that resists the ravage on time, and can never be dated.
