Review of Below (2002) by Blæke W — 11 Sep 2010
Excelent thriller, derived with a real sense of classic thiller structure to the movement of the picture. In a stark contrast to the more contemporary films ive experienced from this director, recently the 'the perfect getaway'.
The crew of submariners in the WWII navy film get themselves in and out of danger in the depths of conflict after harbouring a few castaways from another longrange vessel, a hospital ship, blown up in the waters of their patrol. Even stranger goings on than that have commenced now for the crew as supernatural sightings and mishaps are putting doubts on the ships capability for the safe passage required to complete the patrol.
