Review of Below (2002) by Ellis W — 20 Sep 2014
Below is an attempt to be a blend of supernatural horror and World War Two thrills, yet it only feels like it points at them and doesn't try to enrich itself in either. Sure it's passably entertaining and has a cast which can act, yet in the end it is mere surface with only a half-hearted effort to be something more interesting than a plain old cliche.
