Review of Beloved Sisters (2014) by Kelly-Ann K — 03 Sep 2015

I honestly didn't think I'd be riveted by some three hour German film about some affair that happened in the 18th century - but hot damn! This film is definitely a lot to absorb, there's so much good happening, it's smart, sensual, completely unpredictable and brilliantly acted -- it's an utter must-see!

(The version I saw was the 170 minute director's cut, there's a 130 minute version available as well -- I can't tell you much about it though).
