Review of Belly of the Beast (2003) by Jarod S — 15 Sep 2004
Normally I wouldn't give a movie like this a chance, but my dad rented it and I decided what the heck. Now that I'm done watching it, I wish I would have gone with my original instincts and left this one alone..

It's pretty clear that Seagal is getting old, and isn't as limber anymore. In this movie he moves with the speed of molasses. .

The movie starts off pretty bad, and just keeps getting worse. Whether it's transvestite kung fu expert or the sudden addition of magic elements towards the end, nothing seems to work..

I will give the movie some points though for starring Ryu from the Street Fighter movie. I don't know why, but it was cool seeing him again. Other than that, this movie is a total waste of time..
