Review of Belly (1998) by Daniel G — 14 Jan 2008
I like the use of soundtrack and set design in this movie, but the plot reminded me of an urban Scarface set in the 90's. Pretty sorry acting on the part of Method Man and Nas. I must say the intro with all of its gratuitous violence, lighting, and music, grabbed my attention.
Kudos to Hype Williams.
