Review of Bellflower (2011) by Alex V — 02 Jan 2012
Wildly unpredictable, "Bellflower" starts off with sweet mumble-core romance, before taking a sharp turn towards the dark and violent, and then again towards the strange and ambiguous. The characters are quite likeable, so it hits hard when things begin to go very wrong for them. Unique cinematography keeps the film looking fresh. It's a film that sticks with you afterwards. Also, there are flamethrowers.
--8.5/10--.
