Review of Bellflower (2011) by Brett B — 27 Dec 2011
This is about two unemployed hipsters doing stupid shit while they drink and get high. One of them meets a girl. No emotion drives any of the scenes and the acting is forced or just terrible. Tyler Dawson is the worst amongst at handful of bad actors and the director Evan Glodell has no sense of pacing.
There is some interesting imagery, but it cannot save this film from itself. This film is badly in need of some editing. It amounts to a really long student film in need of critique. Emperor's new clothes is what comes to mind.
..not sure what all the fuss is about.
