Review of Bellflower (2011) by Andrew K — 10 Jan 2012
Bellflower is a much different film that what I expected it to be. In the preview I saw this badass muscule car doing a burn out in slow motion with flam throwers. While the movie has this it in it, is a much more vunerable film about a relationship.
Like alot of indie films there are alot of moments were not alot happens but we are immersed into the world of the characters. The writer had in real life a bad break up that inspired the film. Bellflower is not the type a film that captures you right away, but I has left a lasting impression.
