Review of Bellflower (2011) by Russ B — 27 Feb 2012
Inventive. Stunning. Captivating. this homemade film is unlike anything I've seen. This somewhat odd mix of mumble core and tragic love opens with premonitions of its ending; the sharp contrast on a blood stained shirt never leaves yours mind even in the midst of this movies tender opening.
the self built cameras of Evan Glodell, creates a unique looking films, that practically oozes with style. the script while at times a bit loose, conveys the story well. Bellflower scores points for originality.
