This is an "apocalypse movie" of sorts that addresses something quite simple; if you find yourself preparing for the apocalypse, the only apocalypse that's coming is your own. Evan Glodell's hallucinatory masterpiece is a powerhouse drama, a hauntingly emotional character study, and a terrifying horror film that groans at the happy endings of love stories and real-life relationships.

So many ideas are put out, and all are executed to indisputable perfection.
