As the Violent Femmes said, "We've all been through some shit." This film captures the torturous road we all go down in pursuit of...what? It's so hard to tell. Maybe we shouldn't be pursuing it at all.
How did we even begin to go down this road. I absolutely love this movie. It's vital and vulnerable. What do we really want from others? Can any one person satisfy all of our longings? Probably not.
But we want them to.
