Review of Belle de Jour (1967) by Patrick B — 28 May 2010
Catherine Deneuve is a frigid newlywed drawn to leading a double life as a call girl in the afternoons. There are dream sequences in there, good luck figuring out which parts were dream + which parts were reality (not discounting the theory the entire film is a dream).
Repeat viewings confirms this one as a masterpiece.
