Review of B'ella (2014) by Sandy S — 15 Jul 2009
Beautiful movie about two things: a pregnant woman who is struggling with the idea of having a child because her own childhood was less than spectacular, and a soccer player who made a career-ending mistake and is searching for something that can make him feel human again.
The two main leads in this movie are fantastic, but the cinematography is easily the best part of the entire movie. It takes place in New York, but it's the most colorful depiction of New York I've ever seen.
Everything is so bright and vibrant, and it's really just a wonder to look at. Excellent movie.
