Review of Bella (2007) by Emily S — 09 Jul 2008
Some of the best portrayals of the love of Christ I have ever seen in a movie. The acting was superb and well balanced. Monteverde did a nice job of not overdoing it or Hollywoodizing it. I left this movie feeling challenged about how I see the world and most importantly, my relationship with God.
Whether that was intentional or not on the writer's part I don't know. But it was powerfully present.
