Review of Bella (2007) by Barb B — 04 Jan 2009

I absolutely loved this movie and want to watch it again and again!! Very sweet, makes you want to get out of your comfort zone and make a difference in someone's life.

My only (small) complaint was that I found the star's look distracting. I heard the director was afraid his good looks would detract from the story, so he covered the guy's face with a big bushy beard and tied his hair back. But it worked just the opposite on me--the bushy beard was more distracting than good looks would have been. Small price to pay for such a beautiful story, though.
