Review of Bella (2007) by Alex K — 13 Mar 2010
A tear jerker with a plot that manages to be depressing and uplifting. Tammy Blanchard is perfectly cast as Nina and brings you to tears in certain pivotal scenes. First time director Alejandro Monteverde brings an indie feel to this movie that is IMHO a hallmark of good movie making.
