Review of Bell, Book and Candle (1958) by Alex F — 30 Sep 2014
For a comedy, not so funny. Stewart and Novak meshed better in Vertigo. Ernie Kovacs bothered me, he was trying for some sort of effect in reciting his lines but darned if I know what it was. Lemmon is funny although typical Lemmon.
Love scenes between Stewart and Novak don't fly. I wonder if they had any real life chemistry?
