Review of Beirut (2018) by Philip W — 16 Apr 2018
A complicated story showing the death of Beirut from what it once was to twenty years later. The actions of individuals then affect the reactions later. Jon Hamm plays a distraught negotiator caught between old allegiances, bitter memories, unsavory partners in the middle of a civil war.
Actually, the whole thing reminded me of Syria today.
