Review of Being There (2011) by Josh C — 05 Jan 2009
The brilliant Peter Seller's magnum opus. A perfect adaptation of a wonderful book leads to (not suprisingly) an equally wonderful film. This combines political satire and social commentary into a commedy, something that is very rare; especially in this day in age.
As off the wall as Sellers is in Dr. Strangelove; he plays it as reserved in this yet still hits comedic gold. A must see.
