Review of Being There (2011) by Rink S — 03 May 2009
This movie does kind of remind me of the movie "forrest gump" or the quite more aggressive "Bad Boy Bubby". It is about a simple man with less intelligence than average that somehow manages to become extraordinary. This movie still is fresh (although it is already 30 years old) and the character is very likable.
Still I personally would have liked a change in storyline, I would have liked him to finaly say "I am just a gardener, I don't know how to take care of you, or money, but I know how to take care of this garden. Please would you let me take care of it, yes? That would make me very happy.".
