Review of Being There (2011) by Aaron B — 29 Aug 2009
A remarkable, quirky film-Seller's best and final role. This movie says so very much about how individual perception creates reality, even in the most bland and unassuming people. Poignant, hysterical, moving and wonderfully existential.I loved it! I read a quote once-that has just popped into my mind as my fat little fingers pound out this mini review:
"The day I realized that I was not responsible for how others perceive me,was the most liberating day of my life". I've forgotten the source-but it is apropos for this ingenius movie. A masterpiece...
