Review of Being There (2011) by Robyn M — 18 Jul 2012
"What would be Peter Sellers 3rd final film- Being There is a wonder character study of innocence, and subtle uniqueness.".
Famed Comedian and Actor Peter Sellers shines as Chance whose childmind is refreshing and restores hope in its viewers with Optimisim. The slowpaced film is even paced and glides you through mild turbulence. Sherly Mclean stars as Rand a woman facing loss of her ill husband and loneliness. The odd pair is most welcomed and entertaining.
When Chance aimlessly roams the streets after his home is taken due to tragic events he's unaware of whats in store for him. The sheltered and quiet man takes us through a journey that's unforgettable, and 1 most people could only dream of... A wonderful Cinematic gem!
