Review of Being There (1979) by Haven J — 26 Dec 2007
This is probably my favorite movie. I don't think anyone has given an accurate review of it. The most important part of the movie is the very end. The president is reading Ben's quotes and the volume spikes on "life is only perception" as Chance is walking on water.
Thats the point of the movie and it's amazing. The ironic humor and slow pace makes it one of the best movies of all time.
