Review of Being There (1979) by Dan T — 05 Mar 2009
An interesting film. Very understated; for a while I wasn't even sure if I liked it (as opposed to simply appreciating the satire). Given that it's a shaggy dog story, it closed strong. I especially enjoyed the ending, in part for its ambiguity and for its relevance to modern politics and society.
