Review of Being Julia (2004) by John K — 25 Aug 2007
I really enjoyed this movie. Bening is very talented as are Irons and Evans. This is a funny, quick-paced film that gives us an interesting glance at old theatre. The best thing about this movie is the end.
When Julia has her revenge on the stage against the people who have hurt her she does it magnificently. The last ten minutes make the movie so worth watching if not anything else.
