This movie sounded okay to me when I read the back, but it says "Jeremy Irons" on the front, so that is supposed to mean "Good Movie." Well...wrong! Jeremy Irons was not in the movie nearly enough.

..I think his name is only on the front to get people to pay money to see it! Annette Bening does a good job acting, but her character, Julia, is repulsive. I didn't like her at all. She gets "tired" of being a famous actress and getting whatever she wants, so she has an affair with this guy who I guess is in his 20's.

Then he gets another girlfriend his own age (Avice), who ends up having an affair with Jeremy Irons (Julia's husband), so Julia decides to humiliate her. I didn't think that whole charade was funny at all.

It was like Julia thinks she can do whatever she wants, but if anyone else even considers doing the same thing, Julia must punish them. The girl who plays Avice looked a lot like Marilyn Manson to me.

I like MM a lot, but that doesn't mean this is a good thing. So anyway, this Julia is a spoiled bitch and that's about it. She didn't deserve anything good. This movie gets a 4 because of the brief presence of Jeremy Irons.

...and because it wasn't too boring sometimes..
