Review of Being John Malkovich (1999) by Connor G — 07 Jun 2012
A perfect mix of humour, melodrama and fantasy this bizzare, intelligent, one of a kind film sets the bar high for all out of the box films. Repeat viewings are a treat coupled with delicious postmortems.
I remember tricking my sister to look at this movie by telling her it was an offbeat romance, just so I could discuss it with someone. Completely worth it. Each actor encompasses their role perfectly.
Cameron Diaz is golden as Lotte and the Catherine Keener scrumptious as Maxine.
