Review of Being John Malkovich (1999) by Benjamin P — 23 Aug 2012
Strange and somewhat creepy, Being John Malcovich is for sure Charlie Kaufman's darkest pieces of work. A very you might say, interesting storyline wraps this cool and wonderous film about a portal into the head of John Malcovich.
Yes, the actor. The star of many films such as Con Air and In the Line of Fire is now a joy ride through the self-concious of a modern day Hollywood star. Would you pay money to be John malcovich for 15 minutes? Charlie Kaufman and Spike Jonze team up for this fun and bizarre movie that I can assure will keep you more than just entertained.
The acting is great, the directing is spectacular and the writing, is well just utter genius(its what you'd expect from Kaufman). Awesome!
