It was EXTREMELY original. I loved the premise and the plot and the characters, John Malkovich is seriously brilliant in this, should've gotten at least nominated. My big problem though is about 4/5 into it, it takes that turn where you don't want it to go, you know what I'm talking about, and stays there and never leaves.
I was turned off by the ending, but besides that, the script is solid and the direction is magnificent. Cusak is great too.
