Review of Being John Malkovich (1999) by Jameson W — 05 Nov 2011
To be honest, I think Charlie Kaufman and Spike Jonze's film Adaptation is a better film than this (at least I enjoyed it more), but this is the precursor. It is wholly original and the last half of the movie was the better half.
The first half was good, but the humor didn't strike me as being very funny at all. All in all, a good movie that is VERY weird but not as good as Kaufman's later work, Adaptation.
